Zach Brown Expected To Be Fine For Week 1
6 years agoWashington Redskins linebacker Zach Brown (oblique) has been dealing with a strained oblique muscle, but head coach Jay Gruden said Monday that Brown should be ready for the Week 1 opener against the Arizona Cardinals. Brown was a tackling machine in 2017, and he will be one of the top linebackers off the board in fantasy formats using individual defensive players (IDPs). He has averaged 138 tackles per season over his past two campaigns while piling up 16.5 sacks through his first five NFL seasons. A healthy Brown also makes the difference for the Redskins DST, which ranks in the middle third of the league.
