BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 32% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Junior Guerra has been solid this season, but has been a boom-or-bust type of pitcher overall. Guerra has allowed three earned runs, or less, in four of the past six outings. Those other two performances? He’s allowed at least five earned runs.
This week, Guerra will make two starts (each on the road), facing the Reds and Nationals. The Reds are the first team Guerra will face this week, and he will be starting against them for the fourth time this season. In the three previous performances, Guerra is 1-0 with a 3.18 ERA and tallied 19 strikeouts in 17 innings of work against Cincinnati. While the Nationals may be a better offense on paper, remember that they have been shut out in three consecutive games. Guerra is a good streamer in deeper leagues, particularly considering his propensity for a poor outing.
