Dalvin Cook Returns To Action
6 years agoMinnesota Vikings starting running back Dalvin Cook had two rushes for one yard in his first NFL game since tearing his ACL against the Detroit Lions just four weeks into the 2017 season. The results weren't much as he played just one series, but the fact that Cook is healthy and taking snaps is positive news for his week one availability. Cook was off to a really great start prior to the injury, rushing for 354 yards on 74 carries and two touchdowns - good for a 4.8 yards per carry average. He also hauled in 11-of-16 targets for 90 yards receiving. The dynamic back out of Florida State University has an ADP of 12th overall (RB10) and will look to build on his success from last year. However, concerns of a potentially lighter workload to start the year and Latavius Murray lurking as a possible touchdown vulture have tempered expectations for some. Draft Cook at or around his ADP due to his upside, but be aware of his situation and plan accordingly.
