6 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is about to start his first official NFL game. Allen and the Bills draw the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday. To date, even though playing with and against lower-level talent, first impressions on the rookie QB have all been positive. A total of five quarterbacks were chosen in the first round (Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Lamar Jackson); Allen was the third QB chosen and is likely the future for the Bills at the position. Along with many reporters and talent evaluators, Peter Schrager, co-host of NFL Network's  "Good Morning Football", has Allen as the best rookie first rounder to date. "I'd put him (Josh Allen) number one." This is certainly encouraging news for the young QB. This upcoming tilt against the Bengals will be a great test and opportunity to show he can compete with and against starting units.--Joel Dorcas
