6 years agoDetroit Lions head coach Matt Patricia gave running back Ameer Abdullah an opportunity to show what he could do in their dress rehearsal, and per usual, it wasn't much. Before having his longest run of 14 yards against Tampa Bay's backups in the third quarter, Abdullah managed just 16 yards on six carries and a dropped pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford that went right through his hands on his only target of the night. Abdullah continues to trend in the wrong direction in terms of making the Lions final roster and is a complete fantasy afterthought at this point.--BobbyJA
