Evan Engram Suffers Concussion Against Jets
6 years agoNew York Giants tight end Evan Engram (concussion) suffered a concussion in the preseason game on Friday against the New York Jets. It's a tough night for the tight corps of the G-Men, as Rhett Ellison also suffered an eye injury during the game. The next two tight ends on the depth chart are Jerell Adams and Ryan O'Malley, so Big Blue needs Engram to make it through the concussion protocol rather quickly. For now there is no timetable on how long he will be sidelined due to the helmet-to-helmet contact. Engram is still a top-notch fantasy tight end, but his status for Week 1 might now be up in the air. Plan to have depth on hand.
