Neil Walker Drives In Two Runs In Miami Defeat
6 years agoThe New York Yankees didn’t have much to be proud of on Wednesday night if anything. After all, they dropped a game to the lowly Miami Marlins, recording three errors and managing just three runs. Two of three runs came off the bat of Neil Walker, who’s become one of the more instrumental bats in this depleted Yankees lineup. The 32-year-old doubled home the game’s first run in the fourth inning and later hit a sacrifice fly to center, doubling New York’s short-lived lead. Walker is hitting .280 over his last 30 games, taking a more substantial role as the Yankees have lost Didi Gregorius, Aaron Judge and Gary Sanchez from the lineup.
