Rick Porcello Has Another Inadequate Outing
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starter Rick Porcello was saddled with the loss on Monday night against the Cleveland Indians. Porcello went seven innings, allowing five runs on six hits (three of which were home runs). Porcello has been wildly inconsistent over his past seven starts. In three of those games, he has allowed one run or less. In the other four, he has allowed a total of 24 runs. That basically serves as a synopsis for Porcello’s season as he can range from dominant to downright terrible. He is still in the SP3/SP4 range for fantasy purposes, but he is prone to blowing up. It may be best to play the matchup game with Porcello until he strings together some consistently good outings.
