Source: Two Teams Interested In Teddy Bridgewater
6 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is apparently on the trade block, and general manager Mike Maccagnan and head coach Todd Bowles haven't refuted that. In fact, a source confirmed that at least two teams expressed interest in trading for Bridgewater, and the club has made it known they'll part with him for the right price. As of Monday afternoon there were no concrete offers that would prompt a move, the source stated. However, it appears Bridgewater might be heading to a new team sooner rather than later after a nice training camp and preseason, proving he is once again healthy and a starting caliber quarterback. Rookie Sam Darnold would then likely open as the Week 1 starter with expensive backup Josh McCown as the No. 2.
