Chase Anderson Is A Risky Two Start Option
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starter Chase Anderson is heading into a good looking match up against the Reds on Monday, but it might not be as juicy as it looks. Anderson has posted a 8.31 ERA in his last two starts against San Diego and Atlanta. On top of that, the Reds offense has been coming alive lately scoring 20 runs over the weekend while sweeping San Francisco. Anderson also has a 5.03 ERA at home compared to a 2.97 ERA on the road. Though it may be tempting to start him in a two start week, his next start is also at home against the Pirates, who he has a 5.91 ERA against this season. The Sunday start is also in the morning, where Anderson has a 5.08 ERA. The Brewers have a good offense, so he may be able to get a win, but all signs point to Anderson having a bad week.
