7 years agoHouston Texans rookie linebacker Duke Ejiofor is playing like a man on a mission in his limited opportunities. Ejiofor finished Saturday's game with two tackles plus a tackle for loss. In last week's game against Kansas City, Ejiofor recorded three quarterback hits. Ejiofor was a sixth-round pick out of Wake Forest and a former Texas standout. The Texans have a solid linebacker corps this season and Ejiofor can add some great depth at the outside linebacker position. This Texans defense is looking to get back to where they were two years ago when Romeo Crennel was the defensive coordinator. Now with Crennel back and Brian Gaine as the general manager, the Texans now have the talent and roster to go deep into the playoffs finally. Finding gems like Ejiofor is a sign that this Texans team has set its sights on possibly more this season.--Chris Nalls
