6 years agoDallas Cowboys strong safety Xavier Woods exited Saturday's preseason game with a hamstring injury. Woods injured himself while attempting to dive for an interception in the second quarter of the Cowboys second preseason game. Assumed to be the starter for an already thin Cowboys secondary, Woods did not return to the game. A lengthy injury to a young player that many expect big things out of this season could be trouble for a Cowboys defense that is already expected to rank towards the bottom of the league this year. The Cowboys are awaiting further information on Woods' injury.--Calvin McAlee
