6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Sam Gaviglio struggled against the Kansas City Royals on Thursday night. While it seemed like a solid matchup to stream, Gaviglio gave up five runs on eight hits through 4 1/3 innings. He was unable to induce many whiffs as he only struck out two batters. Gaviglio has had some great performances this season, but he is a risky streaming option due to his inconsistency. He now has an ugly 2-6 record to go along with a 5.13 ERA. His next start projects to be on Tuesday against the Baltimore Orioles, another offensively-challenged team, but after his outing against the Royals, it is hard to recommend streaming him.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
