Jimmy Garoppolo Could Play More on Saturday
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo could see more action on Saturday against the Houston Texans, according to 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan. The signal-caller played just one offensive series in the team’s Week 1 matchup against the Cowboys. “I see it pretty similar to the first game. We’ll feel it out. But, he’ll probably go a little more,” Shanahan said. Garoppolo started the final five games of the 2017 season and went undefeated in the process, while averaging 16.4 fantasy points per game. That number should improve with the additions of Dante Pettis, Jerick McKinnon and a healthy Pierre Garcon. He is currently being drafted as the 10th quarterback off the board with an ADP of the ninth round.
