6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis continues to open eyes around the NFL, and this time it was DeAndre Hopkins who took notice. The All-Pro Houston Texans receiver approached Pettis after practice and gave him high praise. “I like your game, man. I like your game,” Hopkins said. 49ers reporter Joe Fann observed that the dynamic rookie was getting open throughout practice and that Pettis “dominated 1-on-1s.” As deep as the 49ers are at the wide receiver position, it’s becoming more and more clear that Pettis will have a role this upcoming season. He is still not worth drafting in standard redraft leagues, but the Washington product is someone to target in dynasty formats before his value rises any higher.--Mike Dente
