Wilson Ramos Drives In Three Runs As Phillies Prevail
6 years agoMaking his debut with his new team, Philadelphia Phillies catcher Wilson Ramos couldn’t have asked for a better first impression. The All-Star catcher drove in three runs and recorded three extra-base hits in Wednesday night’s victory over the Boston Red Sox at Citizens Bank Park. Ramos ripped a double in the fourth to put the Phillies on the board and later drilled another to center field in the seventh, extending his club’s lead. The Phillies couldn’t have asked for a better start for their acquired catcher, who’ll take over starting duties. While they took down the best team in baseball, they remain two games out of the division lead in the NL East.
