6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Alfred Morris worked primarily with the second-team offense during Wednesday’s joint practice with the Houston Texans. It is worth noting that the veteran running back appears to be playing ahead of second-year player Joe Williams, who saw time with the third-string offense. Morris will have to make the most of his opportunities while Jerick McKinnon and Matt Breida miss time due to injury, as he is battling for a roster spot with Jeremy McNichols, Williams and Raheem Mostert.--Mike Dente
