Eduardo Nunez Batting .339 in Past 15 Games
6 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Eduardo Nunez has been absolutely raking for about a month now. He is 21-for-62 in his last 15 games with one homer, 9 RBI, and three stolen bases. While the production is nice to see, the issue with Nunez is that he does not have an everyday role on a deep Red Sox team. His defensive inefficiencies normally keep him out of the lineup, although he is starting at second base and batting seventh on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies. He could be a decent value play for daily fantasy managers as he will be hitting behind some solid Red Sox batters. For those in deeper leagues, you can try to ride the hot stretch while it can, but for those in shallow leagues, he would be tough to roster due to inconsistent playing time.
