Demarcus Robinson Pushing For Role In Chiefs Offense
6 years agoKansas City Chiefs third-year wide receiver Demarcus Robinson is making a case for the third wide receiver role in the Chiefs offense behind Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins. Robinson showed well in his first preseason game Thursday night, hauling in three of his four targets, including one for a touchdown. Despite the Chiefs offense being loaded with weapons, we saw the likes of Albert Wilson and Chris Conley carve out a role in 2017, making it not too far-fetched for Robinson to do the same. Watkins has also battled his fair share of injuries throughout his career, and Robinson's skill set is similar to that of Watkins. While Robinson may not be a target in your drafts as it currently stands, this is a situation worth monitoring, as the Chiefs offense should provide a good amount of fantasy relevance in 2018.
