Jake Marisnick Heading to the Disabled List
6 years agoThe Houston Astros have been victimized by the injury bug yet again. Jake Marisnick (groin) is the latest victim as the Astros placed him on the 10-day disabled list on Saturday afternoon. It seemed that he hurt himself while running out a double in the seventh inning of Friday's game. Kyle Tucker is being called up to replace Marisnick on the everyday roster and he should see a plethora of starts in the outfield. Tucker is one of the top prospects in baseball, but 2018 has been a struggle for the 21-year-old. Through 50 plate appearances this season, Tucker only has a .156 average to go along with zero home runs and three RBI. Tucker will need to turn things around with the bat to become a viable fantasy option for this season, although he will definitely see a bunch of playing time in the coming weeks.
