6 years agoNewly-acquired New York Jets running back Isaiah Crowell connected with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater for a 16-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter of Friday's preseason matchup. The touchdown wound up being a costly one, however, as Crowell left the game after smashing through two defenders on his way into the end zone for the score. Crowell was diagnosed with a concussion, and while head coach Todd Bowles had no update on the injured running back after the game, Crowell is likely to be held out until the symptoms of the concussion have been fully cleared. Bilal Powell did little with the opportunity for added carries, so this situation will remain a committee upon Crowell's return.--Justin Friel
