6 years agoTennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota only played one drive in Thursday's preseason opener, but he completed two of three passes for 43 yards and a touchdown. Not only was he effective, but he did so without his three top options in the passing game. This was a positive sign for the progression of the young quarterback in the team's new offense. Mariota will likely be given more opportunities in the passing game than he was a year ago, making him an intriguing option as a late-end QB1.--Sam
