Josh Bell Activated Off Of Disabled List
6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell (oblique) was activated off of the 10-day disabled list on Wednesday afternoon. He will bat seventh in the lineup and start at first base against the Colorado Rockies. The 25-year-old is looking to finish the season strong as he has been a tumultuous player to own in fantasy this year. Bell has a .266 average to go along with a paltry six home runs and 49 RBI, a far cry from the 26 homers and 90 RBI he posted in 2017. Bell certainly has the ability to produce and he should go back to batting in a favorable part of the Pirates order, but he is still probably not worthy of ownership in shallow league formats.
