6 years agoHouston Astros slugger George Springer (shoulder) is absent from Wednesday's starting lineup when the Astros take on the Seattle Mariners. Springer hurt himself attempting a diving catch on Tuesday night. The two-time All-Star should be considered day-to-day for now. In Springer's absence, Tony Kemp is starting in left field and batting lead-off while Jake Marisnick is starting in center field and batting ninth.
