Kyle Stanley Provides GPP Upside at Firestone
6 years agoKyle Stanley comes into the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational hoping to overcome his struggles during notable events. The American has only made six of 15 cuts in majors during his career and has failed to produce a finish better than a share of 39th place. But despite all the frustration Stanley has experienced during the Grand Slam events, he has here and there been able to provide distinguished results at some of the more prominent non-majors, which includes a share of fourth place at the 2017 Players Championship and a share of fifth place at the 2017 WGC-HSBC Champions. Firestone is a ball-strikers course, and Stanley comes into the week ranked fifth on tour in strokes gained ball striking. At his $7,200 price tag on DraftKings, he makes for an intriguing contrarian selection.
