Adam Hadwin Has Been Trending in the Wrong Direction
6 years agoAdam Hadwin shot a three-under par at the RBC Canadian Open, missing the cut on the number. The Canadian has failed to provide a top-30 showing in his previous eight tournaments and has seen his ranking enter freefall mode since April. However, Hadwin does have some reason for optimism entering this week's WGC-Bridgestone Invitational. The 56th-ranked golfer in the world finished in a share of fifth place during last year's event and wasn't in crisp form coming into that week either. Still, though, it is hard to imagine that Hadwin will strike lightning in a bottle two years in a row. His performance in 2017 is the only time he has played Firestone and should be viewed as nothing more than an aberrational result.
