6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eduardo Escobar went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Padres. It was an excellent debut for the former Minnesota Twin, as he reached base three times and played a big role in the blowout victory. Escobar will be the Diamondbacks everyday third baseman while Jake Lamb is on the DL with a shoulder injury. He batted fifth behind A.J. Pollock and David Peralta which should give him plenty of opportunities to produce.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
