Kenley Jansen Earns 30th Save Of Season Friday
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen notched his 30th save of the season in Friday's 4-1 game against the Braves. Jansen entered the game in the eighth inning up three with two outs and runners on first and second. He got Freddie Freeman to fly out to end the inning and proceeded to pitch a 1-2-3 ninth inning with two strikeouts. Jansen now has the third-most saves this season to go with a 2.28 ERA, 57 strikeouts, and 13 walks in 51 1/3 IP. He remains a top fantasy closer and should continue to receive plenty of work in the second half of the season.
