Kansas City Royals outfield prospect Logan Moon was released on Friday after a horrendous season at Triple-A Omaha. Moon was never really considered one of KC's top prospects until he tore up Triple-A in the second half of 2017, but whatever clicked then was gone by the time 2018 rolled around. The 26-year-old sixth-round pick was hitting just .193 with zero home runs in 114 at-bats this season. While Moon may have served as organizational depth, KC's already awash with mediocre outfielders that have potential, so it was unlikely that he would have seen a major league roster anytime soon.--Billy Stonick - RotoBallerRead More News
