Dak Prescott Worked On Mechanics In Offseason
6 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott worked out with 3DQB in California in the offseason, training with former NFL QB John Beck under a program designed by Tom House and Adam Dedeaux. 3DQB has worked with quarterbacks such as Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Jared Goff and Blake Bortles. Prescott also dropped around 10 pounds in the offseason and is looking leaner than he did in his first two seasons. His completion percentage dropped from 67.8 percent as a rookie to 62.9 percent last year, and he's been studying Brady's ability to keep his feet quiet. Another focus was on Prescott's depth of his drops from center, most of which were too long and put his tackles in difficult spots to protect him. Prescott fell in production last year, but a lot of it had to do with running back Ezekiel Elliott's six-game suspension. He can add yards with his legs and will have Zeke for a full season, but Dallas' receiving corps is lackluster. Prescott is best drafted as a fantasy backup with upside.
