Danny Green Traded To Raptors
6 years agoAlongside Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs guard Danny Green was sent to the Toronto Raptors in what could be a conference-changing trade. Both are two-way players and add to an already troublesome Raptors defense, without sacrificing any offense. Although the Raptors lost one of their better scorers, they added a major perimeter threat in Danny Green. There are few players that have stuck to their role better than Green, (mostly in part to Gregg Popovich) and he won't have to change in Toronto. With Lowry being the primary ball-handler, Green offers a serious one-two punch in the backcourt, anchored by Leonard at the three. Green will not have a notable year since he is mainly a 3 & D player, but he will be a late round sleeper pick and is going be most useful in DFS contests.
