7 years agoTexas Rangers center fielder Delino DeShields (head, neck) is back in the Rangers lineup on Saturday. DeShields injured himself Wednesday, but managed to make an appearance off the bench on Friday. His presence in this game is a reassuring sign that everything is fine with his head and neck. With the All-Star break next week, the Rangers could have given DeShields extended time off, but they clearly feel confident in his health. DeShields will hit ninth Saturday, which when combined with his lack of power (two home runs) does not make him an attractive DFS option Saturday. However, whenever DeShields is in the lineup his speed (16 stolen bases) makes him a useful option in standard fantasy formats.--Ben Rolfe
