6 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Brad Keller struggled mightily in a loss to Chicago on Friday as he allowed five earned runs in 2 2/3 innings. Keller initially got off to a hot start in his first few turns as a starting pitcher, but as his strand rate has normalized, his ERA has been driven up by a couple bad outings in a row. Unfortunately, Keller strikes almost no one out, so his ERA is likely to continue to climb as his other numbers finish normalizing. The 22-year-old shows some potential in his ability to limit damage, but without the strikeout numbers, he'll have a pretty limited fantasy ceiling.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
