Domingo German’s Early Woes Still Define Him
6 years agoOne key part of the game continues to be the weakness of New York Yankees starter Domingo German. The 25-year-old allowed four runs in the first two innings of Friday’s game against the Indians, setting up yet another loss. German’s problems early in the game have been deadly, as he now sports a 7.20 ERA in the first two innings of his starts. He would go on to allow two more runs, walking four and striking out six en route to his fifth loss of the season to just two wins. The Dominican native continues to be significantly inconstant, having posted a quality start between two four-inning outings this month.
