No Structural Damage For Jarrod Dyson
6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Jarrod Dyson (groin) doesn't have any structural damage in his groin and is dealing with the breakup of scar tissue from his 2017 hernia surgery, according to manager Torey Lovullo. Dyson will remain shut down during the All-Star break next week. A groin injury for a player that relies on speed is not good, and Dyson hasn't hit this year either, slashing .189/.282/.257 with two homers and 12 RBI. He does have 16 steals, though. However, with A.J. Pollock back and healthy, Dyson is merely a bench option for the Snakes when he returns.
