6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer has been struggling for over a month now but has a favorable matchup Tuesday against the A's. Springer will go up against expected A's starter Sean Manaea and Springer is already 3-for-6 against the lefty this season. The Astros leadoff man went 2-for-4 Monday night for his first multi-hit game since June 10 but is hitting only .130 over his last 54 at-bats with only one RBI. It may only be a small sample size against Manaea but Springer is also slugging .514 against left-handed pitching this season. He may be tough to trust DFS for Tuesday but Springer hopefully will start showing signs of breaking loose of his month long slump.--Joey C - RotoBaller
