6 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Steven Souza Jr. (pectoral) was activated from the disabled list prior to Thursday's game against the Padres. Souza is slotted to bat fifth in the lineup, between A.J. Pollock and Ketel Marte. Hitting behind Pollock and Paul Goldschmidt will give Souza plenty of RBI opportunities if he is able to improve on his .163 season average. Souza will play in right field, replacing David Peralta. There has been no indication of how the outfield hierarchy will play out, but they will likely be in a matchup-based platoon, hurting fantasy value for all involved.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
