Nick Williams' Home Run Sets Up Home Win
6 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies recorded just three hits to the Baltimore Orioles seven in Wednesday’s afternoon game at Citizens Bank Park. The three hits, however, came at major situations, resulting in four runs and a subsequent victory. The biggest of the game came from Nick Williams, who drilled a two-run home run. The 24-year-old now has 10 home runs in 76 games, approaching his mark from last season when he smacked 12 in 83 games. The biggest differences, however, have been average and RBI, as he’s dropped significantly in both categories. He also hasn’t been in terrific form as of late, but he's been better than his overall season stats will show.
