DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Trevor Bauer - P, at KC ($13,600)
Bauer has been an elite pitcher this season, posting a 7-6 record with a 2.46 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP. He also owns a 0.4 HR/9 with an 11.7 K/9 through 113.2 innings. He has been a better pitcher on the road this season, and he gets an elite matchup against the Kansas City Royals, who have been the worst offense in the MLB since the beginning of June. Bauer is a -219 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, and he can be used in all leagues.
Marcus Stroman - P, vs NYM ($6,500)
Stroman has struggled quite a bit through nine starts, recording a 1-5 record with a 6.02 ERA and a 1.52 WHIP. With that being said, he owns a 3.63 xFIP, suggesting he will see positive regression as the season progresses. He gets a great matchup against the New York Mets, who have struggled offensively this season. Stroman is a -185 favorite in a game set at 9 runs, but he may be best suited for tournaments tonight.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Jose Martinez - 1B, at ARI ($4,500)
Martinez has been playing well recently, posting 41% hard-hit and fly ball rates over the last 15 days. He also owns three home runs over his last 10 games. He gets a tough matchup against Patrick Corbin, but he can always be considered against left-handed pitchers, as he owns 0.098 wOBA and 0.129 ISO differentials against lefties. He can be considered in all leagues on this slate.
DJ LeMahieu - 2B, vs SF ($4,900)
LeMahieu has been an elite option against left-handed pitching this season, owning a .321 average with a .519 slugging percentage and a .198 ISO against lefties in 2018. He also gets an elite matchup against Andrew Suarez, who has struggled on the road this season. LeMahieu can be used in all leagues, as he has been an elite hitter in Coors throughout his career.
Nolan Arenado - 3B, vs SF ($5,800)
Arenado is at his best when he is playing at home against left-handed pitching. He's hitting .431 against lefties this season, while also posting an .882 slugging percentage and a .451 ISO against left-handed pitchers. He also owns a .364/.699/1.141 line at home. He isn't going to come cheap, but Arenado is an elite option in all leagues tonight.
Aledmys Diaz - SS, vs NYM ($3,200)
Diaz has struggled with power recently, but he's hitting .313 over his last 10 games. He has flashed power throughout his career, and he gets a good matchup against Corey Oswalt, who is not an MLB-level talent. Diaz owns 0.101 wOBA and 0.166 ISO differentials against right-handed pitching. Diaz is hitting late in the order, but he's a solid salary relief option tonight.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Scott Schebler - OF, vs CWS ($4,600)
Schebler has caught fire recently, hitting .314 with a .600 slugging percentage and a 1.019 OPS over his last 10 games. He's also averaging a .313/.484/.855 line at home this season. Jake Marisnick - OF, at TEX ($3,100)
Marisnick has cooled down a bit, but he's still hitting .273 with a .591 slugging percentage and a .998 OPS over his last 10 games. He has been a better option against left-handed pitching, featuring 0.059 wOBA and 0.019 ISO differentials against lefties.
