6 years agoThe Boston Red Sox did not have to wait long to get Steve Pearce into their lineup. After acquiring the 35-year-old last night, Pearce will be starting at first base on Friday against the New York Yankees. Mitch Moreland will be on the bench. Pearce is in an enviable position as he is batting in the cleanup spot. For this reason alone, he would be a serviceable bat to stream. It is too early to determine how often Pearce will be in a starting role, but he will be a great daily fantasy play whenever the opportunity arises.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
