7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Chris Taylor (hamstring) will need to make "significant improvement" in order to start on Tuesday, according to manager Dave Roberts. Monday marks the fourth straight game that Taylor will not start, and it sounds like the trend will continue. Taylor has pinch hit both Saturday and Sunday and it could be in play Monday, but it does not sound like Tuesday will be his return to the starting lineup. It does not seem like Taylor will be placed on the disabled list, though, or else he would not be used as a pinch hitter.--Feldman Zach
