Daniel Berger finished the Travelers Championship in an underwhelming tie for 67th place. The performance was a huge disappointment from a player that many in the DFS community had pegged as a dark-horse favorite this week. All the stars seemed to be aligned for Berger entering the week, as he was coming off an impressive T6 performance at the U.S. Open and had logged two top-five finishes at the Travelers in just two career appearances. Berger's normally sharp iron game was missing in action and he finished a miserable 103rd in strokes gained: tee-to-green for the tournament. The young American will take some time off and is not scheduled to play in the upcoming Quicken Loans National.--Joe Nicely - RotoBaller

The only thing missing from Daniel Berger's resume in 2025 is a win. He has finished inside the top three twice, including his last start at the RBC Heritage, where he finished tied for third. On top of that, he hasn't missed a cut since the Farmers Insurance Open back in January. Every aspect of his game is clicking this season as he ranks in the top 50 in every strokes gained category. This week's Truist Championship will be held at the Philadelphia Cricket Club instead of the usual Quail Hollow. The course is playing at just 7,119 yards, and plays similarly to the tight Harbour Town course, which could be a positive for Berger, who is eighth on tour in driving accuracy. He is a strong play in fantasy formats this week.--Jake Walker - RotoBaller

After a solid performance at the Masters this past weekend, Daniel Berger is looking to continue his stellar 2025 campaign. In addition to his outstanding play this year, he has a very solid history at the Harbour Town Golf Links. He's made the cut in each of his five starts there and has finished 21st or better in three straight, including a T3 back in 2020. Players must execute their iron play as Harbour Town has some of the smallest greens on the PGA Tour. As Todd McGill put it in his Horse For The Course, Berger ranks third in the field in total strokes gained over the last five years (+2.054) and fifth in strokes gained on approach (+1.178). He has the potential to contend at the top and should be considered a start in DFS this week. --Jake Walker - RotoBaller

Daniel Berger is making his first start at the Masters since 2022 after dealing with a multitude of injuries. The 2025 season has been kind to Berger, with four top-20 finishes, including a T-2 at the WM Phoenix Open. He has thrived in all the elements needed to excel at Augusta National this season. He ranks 41st in strokes gained off the tee, 44th in strokes gained putting, and 19th in strokes gained around the green. Truly a masterclass in all facets. He has a chance to truly contend this weekend and should be a dark horse with great value in DFS.--Jake Walker - RotoBaller

Daniel Berger tied for 20th at The PLAYERS Championship earlier this month. He is now focusing on preparing for the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio this week. So far this season, Berger has only missed the cut twice in eight tournaments and has five consecutive top-25 finishes. Over the past year, Berger ranks in the 75th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from over 200 yards in the fairway. This is particularly relevant because at last year's Valero Texas Open, over 28% of approach shots came from this distance. Given his recent performance, Berger could be a strong addition to DFS lineups this week.--Ian Christenson - RotoBaller
