Odubel Herrera Homers In Yet Another Game
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera’s fantastic form with the Phillies seems to be limited by nothing, as he continues to top performance after performance. On Friday night in what would ultimately be a laugher over the Washington Nationals at Nationals Park, the 26-year-old pounded out four more hits, scoring four runs and driving in two. His biggest action of the game, however, came in the third inning, as he drilled a two-run home run to right. It was his fifth straight game with a home run, as he now stands within two of tying his record mark for a single season. Herrera’s stretch of seven games has seen him bat an absurd .484, with his six home runs largely responsible for his likely record home run season.
