6 years agoNew York Mets first baseman/outfielder Jay Bruce (hip) said he is not putting a time frame on his return. Bruce will take the proper time he needs to reset his body from his hip strain. There was a chance he'd only miss 10 days and return before the end of June, but that looks unlikely. Bruce could be looking at an extended stay on the disabled list.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
