Clint Frazier Continues Taking Advantage Of Playing Time
6 years agoWith New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner still on the sidelines since Saturday with a right knee injury, outfielder Clint Frazier continues to see consistent playing time after beginning his frustrating season in the minors. The 23-year-old started each of the three games against the Seattle Mariners, also getting a pinch-hitting appearance against the Nationals on Monday. Frazier recorded at least one hit in each game, picking up two and scoring a run on Thursday. It’s becoming very clear that if given the opportunity, he will thrive, much like he did last season. Of course, the question remains whether he will be given that opportunity, as Gardner’s eventual return means space becomes once again limited for him to have any chance.
