7 years agoSan Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman pointed out a tell of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's during offseason workouts. “You just need to read him—hand off ball; he’s letting it go. You have to be decisive when you make those decisions. If he takes his hand off the ball and doesn’t throw it, I think he’ll throw guys off, but when he takes his hand off the ball, you’ve got to be ready to break," Sherman said. It's something to take note of, but Garoppolo and San Fran's coaching staff will undoubtedly work to correct that before Week 1. Garoppolo is still very raw and has a small sample size as far as NFL stats, but he looks to be the real deal and is in a great place under head coach Kyle Shanahan.
