6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright (elbow) is still a long ways away from beginning a minor league rehab assignment, according to Cardinals general manager Michael Grisch. Wainwright has had supreme elbow discomfort for the majority of the season and will probably not begin throwing again until some point in July. Wainwright has only managed to start four times this season, as he is constantly battling the injury bug. He is still on the 60-day disabled list and is a fantasy afterthought at this point.
