Jaylen Samuels Flashing Versatility
Jaylen Samuels is turning some heads during the offseason, mostly due to his skills in the passing game. The rookie running back played all over the field in college at North Carolina State, lining up as a running back, wide receiver, and a tight end with the Wolfpack. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin stated that Samuels is "highly evolved in the passing game." His skills as a pass catcher have already drawn him some comparisons to Le'Veon Bell, who will be holding out of Steelers training camp again this season. Samuels could soon unseat second-year back James Conner as the team's main backup at running back.
