Daniel Berger Hopes Third Time Is The Charm At Travelers
7 years agoDaniel Berger played his best golf of the season at last week's U.S. Open and finished in a tie for sixth. The young American hopes to carry the momentum from that performance into this week's Travelers Championship. It will be Berger's third career start at TPC River Highlands, a course that he appears to be very fond of. He logged a tie for fifth in his 2016 Travelers debut and lost to Jordan Spieth in a playoff last year. Berger has been in a slump over the last few months, but appears to have rediscovered his game at Shinnecock Hills. This should bode well for the rising star as he heads to a course that he has performed well on in the past. He is a threat to win this week and should be given serious DFS consideration.

Daniel Berger Looks Strong Heading To TPC Sawgrass
4 weeks ago2025 is shaping up to be a resurgent year for Daniel Berger. The 31-year-old finished T15 last week at the API to continue a strong run over his previous four starts, resulting in nothing less than a top 25 finish and including positive strokes gained metrics across the board. While he has yet to get back into the winner's circle, he's certainly putting himself in the mix enough to expect it sooner than later. For a place like the Stadium Course, Berger is a prime candidate for success. He ranks 13th on the PGA Tour this season in bogey avoidance, 18th in driving accuracy (66.43%), and has impeccable proximity numbers with short irons and wedges. As long as the vibes stay high, keep playing him with confidence.

Daniel Berger A Player To Watch For At Bay Hill
1 month agoDaniel Berger is making his first start at Bay Hill since 2019. Before the coming out year the following season, and the injuries that came after that, he is undoubtedly a much different player in 2025. Coming off a string of good finishes, the 31-year-old will be a name to watch on Thursday. After a poor weekend with the irons at PGA National last week, where he lost -2.21 strokes, the hopefully firmer conditions of Bay Hill will allow him to rely more on his impressive short game and prowess on bermuda greens to churn out another high finish. If his lack of experience at this event keeps his ownership levels lower than the guys around him, Berger should be a confident start at $9,700 on FanDuel.

Daniel Berger Will Be A Popular Play At Cognizant Classic
1 month agoThe combination of good course history and two quality finishes will make Daniel Berger one of the highest-owned players in DFS lineups this week. The 31-year-old seems ready to jump back into the upper echelons of professional golf in 2025, gaining over seven and a half strokes on approach and over five and a half strokes off the tee in his last two starts. PGA National is a ball-strikers course through and through, and given that Berger's finished fourth at this event in two of his previous three starts, big things will be expected from him this week. If high ownership is a dealbreaker, then going this route probably isn't the best idea. But don't be surprised if he's the winning ticket come Sunday.

Daniel Berger Puts On Strong Showing At WM Phoenix Open
2 months agoDaniel Berger tied for second at last week's Waste Management Phoenix Open, marking his best finish since The RSM Classic in November. He is now focusing on preparing for this week's Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. It's worth noting that Torrey Pines also hosted last month's Farmers Insurance Open, where over 22% of approach shots were taken from over 200 yards. In the past 12 months, Berger ranks in the 46th percentile for greens in regulation percentage on approach shots from this distance in the fairway. Given his recent performance, Berger could be a strong addition to DFS lineups this week.
