Nathan Peterman A Serious Contender For Starting Job
7 years agoBuffalo Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman should be considered a serious contender for the starting job to open the season. He has rotated first-team snaps with AJ McCarron, with rookie Josh Allen mostly working with the third-team offense. Peterman has looked sharp so far, including completing 10 of his 13 passes in 11-on-11 drills in minicamp practice last Tuesday. So far, Peterman has outplayed McCarron, but a lot can happen between now and the end of training camp. Peterman doesn't have much to work with in the passing game, though, and would be a mediocre QB2 option for fantasy owners if he's starting in Week 1.
